Charley Stadler

Charley Stadler was born in 1964. At 24 his aspirations to become a fashion photographer took him to America, where he travelled and worked extensively. After graduating in Germany with a Masters Degree in visual communications, Stadler made his name as a photographer on publications such as Elle, Vogue and Max.

Since 1995 he has directed over 100 commercials around the globe and won numerous awards at the N.Y. Festival, London International Awards, Cannes, Bessies, Mobius, Epica, Montreux and the ADC.

In 2003 Stadler made his debut as a feature-film director. „Dead Fish“ impressed with a strong cast consisting of Gary Oldman, Robert Carlyle, Terence Stamp, Billy Zane and Karel Roden.

Widely respected for his versatility and experience, Charley Stadler´s directing style depicts strong visual storytelling, big picture combined with exceptional talent driven performances and a solid knowledge of special effects.
